John 2:23-25

1.  The Reality of a Counterfeit Conversion
      a.  A counterfeit conversion is no better than the faith of a demon.  James 2:19

2.  The Reason for a Counterfeit Conversion
      a.  It is an empty claim based on an emotional, impulsive response.  Matthew 13:20-21
      b.  It is an empty claim based on an entertainment mentality.  John 20:30-31
      c.  It is an empty claim for it lacks a love for God.  Mark 7:6; 1st John 2:15-17

3.  The Result of a Counterfeit Conversion
      a.  The person lives with a false assurance.
      b.  The person dies to face a fatal consequence.  Matthew 7:21-23
