1.  This Life has its Similarities.    9:1-3
      a.  We share common circumstances.  1st Corinthians 10:13
      b.  We face a common conclusion.
      c.  We ought not to jump to conclusions about our circumstances.  Ecclesiastes 9:1; Romans 5:8

2.  This Life has its Opportunities.    9:4-10
      a.  You have the life that God has given you - don't waste it.
      b.  You have the loved-ones that God has given you - don't neglect them.
      c.  You have the labor that God has given you - don't shirk your responsibility.  John 9:4

3.  This Life has its Uncertainties.    9:11-12     
      a.  This life offers no guarantees.  11
           James 4:13-17
      b.  This life has its share of unexpected things.  12

4.  This Life has its Rarities.    9:13-18
