Message #1:  "Solomon's Pessimistic Assumption"

1.  Solomon's View on Life was Sad.    "all is vanity"
      a.  Life is meaningless; it is useless.
      b.  Life is monotonous; it is unchanging.
      c.  Life is a mystery; it is unexplainable.

2.  Solomon's Value of Life was Skewed.    "under the sun"
Two key words can correct our thinking about this life.
      a,  The word:  "eternity"
           Luke 12:19-20; Romans 8:16-18
      b.  The word:  "Emmanuel"
           John 10:10

3.  Solomon's Void in Life was because of Sin.
      1st Kings 11:1-13; Romans 8:31
