Ecclesiastes 6:1-12

1.  Without God, Our Accomplishments are never enough.    vv. 1-5
      a.  The problem is not man's accomplishments but rather his failure to experience what God can accomplish through him.
      b.  The true potential for any life is that which God would do with and through that life.

2.  Without God, Our Age makes no difference.    v.6
      a.  The quality of a life is not measured by its length but by its depth.  Ephesians 3:14-19
      b.  The length of a life does not change the destiny of a life.
      c.  No life is so long but that eternity is longer, immeasurably longer.

3.  Without God, Our Ambitions are misguided.    vv.7-9
      a.  Our appetites are insatiable.
      b.  Our appetites are vulnerable.

4.  Without God, Our Answers are never right.    vv.10-12
      a.  When we try to identify ourselves, our answer is wrong.  Matthew 19:4-6
      b.  When we try to justify ourselves, our answer is wrong.  Romans 9:20
      c.  When we try to answer the question:  "what is good for us?" our answer is wrong.
      d.  When we try to answer the question:  "what will happen in the future?" our answer is wrong.  Matthew 6:25-33; Colossians3:1-4
