2.  To our Messed Up Lives, God gives Promise.    3:11-13

      a.  God's promises are based upon His faithfulness.  11a
      b.  God's promises are lived only by faith.  11b
      c.  God's promises are for our fellowship with Him.  12-13

3.  To our Mortal Lives, God gives Permanence.    3:14
      a.  It is a matter confidence.  Colossians 1:17; Hebrews 12:25-29
      b.  It is a matter of reverence.
