Ecclesiastes 8

1.  It is wise to respect the Role of Government.  vv. 2-5
      2nd Samuel 5:1-3
      a.  For Christians, there is the spiritual dimension.  Romans 13:1-7
      b.  As Christians we have a social duty.  1st Timothy 2:1-2

2.  It is wise to recognize the Reality of the Grave.  vv.6-9
      a.  The timing is unknown.
      b.  The time is unavoidable.

3.  It is wise to remember the Righteousness of God.  vv.10-17
      a.  For a time wickedness continues and even worsens.  10-11
      b.  In time wickedness will be condemned.  13
      c.  In the mean time wickedness is applauded and preferred.
      d.  The truth is that fearing God is both right annd wise.  Deuteronomy 6:24 NKJV
      e.  The truth is that even when we don't know and we can't understand-God is faithful.  15-17
