"God is Always Faithful"

Genesis 22:1-19

You can trust God because He has proven Himself faithful by providing His Son as the perfect sacrifice.

1.  A Testing Request (vv.1-2)
      Deuteronomy 12:31

2.  A Trusting Response (vv.3-12)
      a.  Abraham stepped out in faith.
      b.  Abraham and Isaac set out to worship God in faith.  Hebrews 11:17-19
      c.  Abraham's faith was confirmed by his obedience.

3.  A Timely Response (vv. 11-14)
      a.  God proved His faithfulness by providing the sacrifice.
      b.  God proved His faithfulness by providing the perfect sacrifice, His Son.

4.  A Trustworthy Promise (vv.15-19)
      a.  God reaffired His redemptive promise to Abraham.
      b.  God reaffirmed His redemptive promise to man.  Galatians 3:6-9; John 3:16; Romans 8:32
