Colossians 3:1-17

1.  Our Identity is with the Risen Christ.    vv.1-3
      a.  In Christ we have a new address.  Ephesians 2:4-6; Philippians 3:20
      b.  In Christ we have new attractions.  Ephesians 3:16; Romans 2:4; Ephesians 1:7
      c.  In ourselves we have a natural antagonism. 
      ...not on things on the earth.

2.  Our Destiny is with the Returning Christ.    v.4
      a.  There is the certainty of Christ's coming.
      b.  There is comfort in the certainty of Christ's coming.

3.  Our Responsibility is to Reflect Christ.    vv.5-14
      a.  By mortifying the sinful desires of our flesh.  vv.5-9
           1st Peter 2:11
      b.  By modeling the righteousness of Christ.  vv.10-14

4.  Our Opportunity is to Rejoice in Christ.    vv.15-17
      a.  In Christ we can know a life is satisfying.  v.15
      b.  In Christ we can know a life that has substance.  v.16
      c.  In Christ we can know a life of significance.  v.17
