      b.  Jesus protects our new life.  v.3
      c.  Jesus promises us eternal life.  v.4

2.  The spiritual fruit of our holiness.
      a.  Jesus renews our passions and pursuits.  vv.1-2

           (2)  Set
                 1st Corinthians 2:16
      b.  Jesus renews our actions/practices.  vv.5-9
           (1)  Put to death those earthly desires.
           (2)  Put away all evil actions.
      c.  Jesus renews our priorities.  vv.10-11
