1.  Faith's Origin
      a.  Faith comes from God.

      b.  Faith comes from God's Word.

      c.  Faith continues by the aid of God.

2.  Faith's Object
      a.  Saving faith is in the Lord Himself.
           Psalms 28:7; 9-10; Isaiah 26:3-4
      b.  Saving faith is in the Lord's crucifixion and resurrection.
           1st Thessalonians 4:13-14

3.  Faith's Operation
      a.  Faith is shown through our obedience to God.
           Hebrews 11:8
      b.  Faith is grown through our experience of trials.
           1st Peter 1:3-8

4.  Faith's Optimism
      1st Peter 1:8
      a.  By faith in God we can endure.
           2nd Corinthians 4; Hebrews 11:27
      b.  By faith we can have a blessed expectation.
