Psalm 96

1.  Our Objective in Singing:  "Declare His glory"    vv.1-6
      a.  Accept your summons to sing to the Lord.  vv.1-2a
           (1)  The summons is unmistakable.
           (2)  The summons is universal.
      b.  Adhere to the subjects selected for your singing.
           (1)  Sing about the glory of God's salvation.  v.2b
           (2)  Sing about the glory of God's exaltation.  vv.3-4, 6
           (3)  Sing about the glory of God's creation.  v.5

2.  Our Obligation in Singing:  "Give to the Lord the glory due His name"    vv.7-9
      a.  Sing with the whole assembly.  v.7
      b.  Sing as a worshipful act.  v.8
      c.  Sing with a worshipful attitude.  v.9

3.  Our Optimism in Singing:  "The Lord reigns...He is coming"    vv.10-13
      a.  We confess the Lord's control.  vv.10-12
      b.  We confess the Lord's coming.  v.13
