The World Needs Bold Christians

Acts 4:1-31

Purpose
Do we like Peter and John boldly share our faith in Jesus? 
I want us to boldly share our faith in Jesus Christ, even in the face of persecution. 

1.  Christian, we are to have an intimate relationship with Christ.     v.13

2.  Christian, we are to speak boldly about Christ.    vv.2-12
      Colossians 1:28-29
      a.   About Christ’s atoning death.
      b.   About Christ’s resurrection.

3.  Christian, we will face opposition.    vv.3, 7 & 14-22
      Luke 21:12-15; 2 Timothy 3:12
      a.  God’s power is far greater than any other power or persecution you will face!  Ephesians 1:15-23

4.  Christian, we must be resolved in our response.    vv.19-20
      a.  To proclaim Christ!
      b.  To obey Christ! 

5.  Church, we must respond in dependency on God.    v.23-30
      a.  A prayer focused on God.
           Psalm 29:10-11
      b.  A prayer focused on Scripture. 
      c.  A prayer focused on mission and not comfort.. 

6.  Church, God always responds to His people!    v.3
      a.  God moves in His people.
      b.  God moves His people.
