We Need to Worship God

Evening Worship
Luke 1:46-55

1.  Worship the proper God.    vv.46-49
      a.  The object of our worship is God the Savior. 

 2.  Worship the proper God with the proper attitude.    vv.46-50
      a.   Worship should begin in the heart.
           Isaiah 29:13
      b.  Worship should be consistently expressed.
      c.  Worship should come from a humble heart.
           Proverbs 8:4; Isaiah 57:15

3.  Worship because of what God has done.    vv.48-55
      a.  Worship God because of what He has done for you.
      b.  Worship God because of what He has done for His people.
           (1)  Shown mercy to those who fear Him.  v.50
           (2)  Shown His strength and power.  vv.51-52
           (3)  Filled the hungry with good things.  v.53
           (4)  Kept His covenant.  vv.54-55
