1.  (For the convert) there are two Prohibitions.

           Luke 9:26

2.  (For the convert) there are two  Principles.
      a.  There is the principle of supremacy.
      b.  There is the principle of sufficiency.
           2nd Peter 1:2-3; Colossians 2:9-10
           (1)  When the authority of the Scriptures has been marginalized by the inclusion of secular teachings.
           (2)  When the Gospel has been sanitized of its convicting truth so that man no longer has a sin problem but instead struggles only with felt needs.
           (3)  When the glory of God is deemphasized and the chief duty of man becomes the gratification of self.
           (4)  When the sovereignty of God has been downsized and the subject of God is subject to the whims of man.

3.  (For the convert) life has one Purpose.
      a.  The ambassador's assignment is decided by the King.
      b.  The ambassador's authority is delegated by the King.
      c.  The ambassador's accountability is determined by the King.
