Christians Are Just Different

Ephesians 4:17-24

I want each believer to daily put away the old way of life and live out your new identity that is found in Christ.

1.  Christian Do Not Live Like a Non-Christian.    vv.17-19
      a.  The Non-Christian has an ungodly mind.
           -Futility of their minds
           -Darkened in their understanding
             1st Thessalonians 4:5
           -Alienated from the life of God
           -Ignorance that is in them
           -Callous
      b.  The Non-Christian has an ungodly lifestyle.
           -Sensuality
           -Greed

2.  Christian Live Out Your New Identity.    vv.20-24
      a.  The Christian has received a new identity in Christ.
           2nd Corinthians 5:17
      b.  The Christian is exhorted to put off the old self.
      c.  The Christian is to allow the Spirit to renew their mind.
           Romans 12:2
      d.  The Christian is exhorted to put on the new self.
